SNAPSHOT

Today my cousin David share an old photo of his mom and dad, and my mom. I had seen it before, but have lost track of it. It’s now back in my family photo gallery.

David’s dad, Everett (Evie) and my mom, Cynthia (Cinny), were siblings. The other woman, on the left, is his mom, my aunt, Faye. She was from Alabama. A favorite aunt, I used to call her a couple of times a year after my mom died. She was always thrilled to hear from me!

This photo was probably taken in the late ‘50s. Guessing, they were all in their early 20’s. My mom, and Evie and Faye always got along famously. I always enjoyed seeing them together as I grew up. Happily, very close.
