MY PRIDE TATTOO 🏳️‍🌈

I got my first tattoo in North Beach, San Francisco in June 2023. I wanted a reminder that being gay is permanent.

I wake up everyday with this ink on my arm. Wherever I go, it’s with me. It reminds me where I’m from, where my journey began.

In researching my choice, I learned what each color represents. My first lesson. The Roman numerals MMXXIII (2023) my coming out year.

RED - Life

ORANGE - Healing

YELLOW - Sunlight

GREEN - Nature

BLUE - Harmony and Peace

VIOLET - Spirit
